Works great. Bought it for fashion and quality training tool for my dog. Supplies both demands. Rose Gold and Gold are both beautiful. The color will come off the ring you hook your leash to, but there has been NO chipping or fading to the actual collar.

I was hesitate to order this because of some of the reviews, but am happy to say it's just like the one I had and loved years ago.My dog is very well behaved and 65 lbs. I bought either the medium or large size, and had no problem getting it to self-thread into the ring, just like any other "choke" collar I've had. Perhaps the small size is different.I don't know I'd recommend this style of collar for a medium or large dog that pulls a lot, but for mine it's perfect and it's very well made.

I really like this chain. I have a Great Dane and the 24" was slightly big for him but it works and looks great. It's also a pretty sturdy chain however I wouldn't use it for long walks if your large or giant breed tends to pull, unless they respond well to choke chains. Otherwise it's a great chain, beautiful with his black and white coloring. I also didn't find it difficult to pull through the rings like others have. It's tougher than a regular link style choke chain but not difficult enough to be an issue at all.UPDATE: it’s been 4 years since I purchased this chain and surprisingly it’s held up really well. It has definitely become more of a Rose gold color instead of regular gold. The o rings are stretched to ovals from trying to hold my dog back when I didn’t have him on a leash. But that’s 100% to be expected when you’re trying to wrangle a 150lb dog. All in all I love this chain and actually just ordered a replacement right before I wrote this update. The past few days I keep finding the chain off his neck and on the ground. I assume it’s from him scratching himself vigorously but there’s something happening that’s making the chain fall off that’s never happened before. So I figured it’s old enough I can spring for a new one.2nd UPDATE: when I received the 2nd chain, it was noticeably shorter than the first chain. It still fit my dog but not as well as the previous one. I decided to keep it anyway. He’s been wearing it for about a month and a half and it has turned his white fur gray underneath where the chain has been. He has also broken out in a rash all over his chest. He’s never had a dermal allergic reaction to anything before. I am not 100% certain that it’s the new chain causing the rash but if the rash clears up now that I’ve taken the chain off, then obviously I recommend not getting this chain. I’ll update my review if his rash clears up.3rd UPDATE: I just got home from the vets office after spending $145 on an exam and medications to treat the allergic reaction and infection my dog got from this chain. Don't buy this chain.

I will say good thing I ordered the biggest size because there wasn't much room left when put on my dog. We bought this to help train her for upcoming shows but it is definitely not long enough to use in a show. You have to be right there on the ground with her for it to reach your hand. I love the color though and she responds well with it.

I'm not sure how they expect you to use this as a pet collar.... but it will work for a human fashion project that I bought it for.I wish it was a heavier and thicker chain, tho.Those rings will barely fit my smallest finger, and the chain is about the width of a regular human necklace, so it seems very dangerous to use as a choker...might actually cause very serious injury to a pet.

these collars are amazing. they are sturdy which is important for my 85 lb pitty. they are thin enough that they get her attention quickly and they release quickly due to the smoothness of the chain. a vast improvement over her old collar the standard medium chain collarJames Learman

I ordered the gold chain for my puppy and after it hung for a while, I finally used it for her show. It rained and now it’s turning silver. Horrible quality. Never ordering again!

I like the weight of this collar. Perfect weight. It's not too light that I think it may break, but it's not too heavy for me to use to train my dog (sensitive breed). It's also pretty. Very pleased.
