The volume is perfect. Any louder, the cops would hassle us. Also love the ability to record slogans and then play them back. Even saves the message when I am charging the batteries. Rechargable attery life good enough for 3-4 hours. Dropped one of these once and the battery fell out, so taped up the battery door, just to be sure. Lightweight and dark. Good price. A blessing for Democracy!

It is loud enough for me. Quality is good. Value is amazing. And it is very easy to use. Battery has lasted well also. And it folds to a convenient size. Good buy!

I needed a megaphone to bring on a bike tour for 150 people. This was lightweight, loved the removable microphone feature, the siren, and the ability to prerecord a USB of my speech, or play music.Unfortunately, the group agreed that this megaphone was not at all loud enough. Nor was its counterpart, the larger 50W Mealivos megaphone. But they are almost equivalent in sound power; if you are debating between the two DEFINITELY get this one.

So I originally bought this because my 6 year old has autism and frequently elopes,, this has an "alarm" of sorts that sounds like a police siren and whenever gets too far away from me I sound the alarm and it works great. The speaker is loud enough for him to hear me and I don't have to wear my voice out trying to talk to him long distance to get him to come back. It has also helped me talk with my husband who has hearing damage due to being on construction jobs in the past. We've been working on a privacy fence and one wall of it spans 80ft and it's easier to talk to him through this than having to walk all the way back to him for a simple question or solution.

I am a band director which means I use my voice for hours each day and need to be heard in a sometimes noisy classroom. I’ve been struggling with voice loss from teaching and have been searching for solutions. When another band director visited my classroom and used one of these, I figured I’d give it a shot. It is VERY loud at its top volume, and the siren is even louder. I can use this to easily get the attention of 40 middle schoolers playing their instruments at the same time. The battery lasts for quite a while - I can easily get through a school day without needing to recharge. Not to mention, the kids get a kick out of it and always ask to say something in it! Overall I love it and it was definitely worth it.

Use it for my son's soccer games...And it's so loud that the referees keep telling me to not use it which is very upsetting cuz that's what its purpose is for... To root and let everybody hear the positivity

Got it out of the box and it doesn’t work. Reached out to company but never got a response. Awful product. Waste of money.

You have to hold the microphone so close to your mouth for it to work that your voice is muffled and not clear (on both the megaphone itself or the handheld mic).
