Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea has an exceptionally pleasant flavor and aroma. One of the best bag Jasmine teas I have encountered in this country. Over the past year, I have purchased eight different brands of Jasmine bag tea on Amazon. This assortment has ranged from quite good to so bland that I returned it for a refund. Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea ranks among the very best in my book.I have lived and traveled throughout Asia for much of my life. There, I developed a deep appreciation for this elegant and fragrant tea while traveling in the coastal province of Fujian in China -- considered the epicenter of Jasmine tea.Loose Jasmine tea or small tea balls (called pearls) are most common in that part of the world. Here in the USA, we do like our convenience. There are certainly a handful of fine bag teas that rival top quality loose or pearl Jasmine tea -- what some purists claim is the ultimate form of Jasmine tea. I've enjoyed all three forms many times in many countries. I suspect there are very few people if any who could reliably detect a quality difference between truly excellent bag, pearl or loose Jasmine tea in a double-blind test -- despite all the popular hype and puffery to the contrary.The exotic perfumy bouquet and subtle flowery taste of Jasmine petals blended with a fine tea (either green, white or black tea) bring back many fond memories in every cup. I drink this tea daily because I have a fondness for the taste experience, especially first thing in the morning.I'm not a food neurotic, so I have no interest in the many questionable claims about the supposed cleansing properties, the touted anti-oxidant components, or the consciousness raising qualities of this "don't panic, it's organic" beverage. It is not medicine nor a psychoactive substance, it's tea.Jasmine flower (originally coming from Persia) has been enjoyed in tea for over a thousand years. As much as I'm an ardent fan of this uniquely flavored tea, I have not once levitated or achieved Nirvana while drinking it. Sorry to disappoint. However, I do experience a lovely warm feeling when enjoying this wonderful tea that often gives me pause and puts a smile on my face. I'm not sure I could ask more from this simple but alluring beverage. I hope you too will frequently enjoy Yamamotoyama Jasmine tea.

This is exceptional tea. I've been trying to get into tea but honestly I'm not a huge fan of tea. I finally found the perfect tea. This one just pairs so well with oat milk and a little honey. I drink it every day.

I first discovered this tea at our local Asian grocery market and was so happy to find it on Amazon too! I was pleasantly surprised by this Jasmine Green Tea compared to competing brands. This is one of the top Jasmine Green teas I've ever drank, they did not skimp on the Jasmine flowers and the taste is so floral it's almost sweet. This is one of my new favorite teas.

Aroma& delightful tea. I tried others&this is solid. Been drinking this brand for years.

We used to get this at a local restaurant but their supplier stopped carrying it. Delighted to find it online. Smells wonderful and my husband who doesn't like tea much has gotten quite fond of it. Will continue to reorder regularly.

This is a really good jasmine green tea. Lots of bright and bold jasmine aroma and flavor. This tea is good straight or w/ a small amount of sweetness (sugar/honey/agave). It's pretty good cold too, though hot is by far the best. Sometimes in the summer I'll make some as iced tea and I think it's wonderful. I have tried other brands but this is by far the best. Bigelow brand is too weak for me. Yamamotoyama brand gives me the strong jasmine punch I crave.

Good tea with jasmine flavor and not overwhelming.

I wouldn’t call myself a tea “connoisseur” but I definitely know what flavors and brands that I prefer over others. Yamamotoyama is my favorite brand of jasmine tea, hands down! When you open the individually wrapped tea bag you can immediately smell how fragrant this jasmine is. It’s so fragrant that from the smell alone you can practically taste it. I have an extremely difficult time locating Yamamotoyamas Jasmine tea in market or any retailer that sells tea. I wish that most supermarkets carried it, as 16 bags seem to disappear very quickly. Amazon seems to be the only place that I am able to purchase the tea. I do wish that it was packaged in larger quantities. That’s my only complaint. It’s great hot or cold, with or without sugar, and with a splash of milk, you’ve got your Homemade Jasmine Milk Tea, without the boba.
