Mscien 3M Extension Lead with USB, 3 Way Sockets 2 USB with Individual Switches Wall Mountable - 3 Meter(Inculding Sockets) Extension Cord

This extension lead had every feature I wanted, and is thoughtfully designed and constructed. The fact that the USB outlets were switched was particularly desirable to me. I needed to change the flex for a slightly longer one and this revealed a poor construction feature. The Live, Neutral and Earth flex conductors are attached to the internal busbars with a dab of solder alone. No mechanical reinforcement at all, even though the earth and neutral busbars have an eye at the end, it was not used at all. If the socket should get hot, they could easily disconnect. I am surprised that it gained certification like this. I have re-wired the flex and twisted the conductors around the busbars before soldering them. It only took seconds and should have been done in the factory, or else fitted with screw terminals to facilitate re-wiring.

I bought this to have extra sockets next to my couch in the living room. This extension lead does it's job fairly well. I like the fact it has individual switches this is very handy, I don't have to turn the main switch off when I'm dealing with one specific device. It's got good build quality, tough, sturdy, it looks durable so should last a very long time.The USB didn't work when I got it, I could've returned it for an exchange or refund but didn't bother because the other sockets and switches worked just fine. It is also worth mentioning this was purchased open box from Amazon warehouse deals. Over all it's still a decent product and I would think brand new you would have no issues. Hope this helps.

Bought two. One in use for two weeks when BANG. Only one socket had been in use for a trickle charge on laptop. Sockets blackened. In my opinion these are dangerous and a fire risk. Returned and refunded.

I needed an extension with a long cable to reach behind some furniture and this particular extension lead looked ideal, with it's 3 socket outlets and 2 x USB ports which would be handy to be able to charge various devices without needing to find an adapter.The extension lead itself feels pretty sturdy, with each socket being individually switched and each having it's own LED indicator.2 keyholes on the rear of the unit make it easy to wall mount.My only slightly negative point is that the lead is only around 2.5m in length and not the full 3m, which could be a problem for some people if they specifically needed the full 3m.Overall, i'm quite pleased with the extension.

Very nice extension lead with 2 USB's and all switched this is a nice bit of kitUpdate.....2 days later the USB stopped working, I mounted it on the wall so difficult to sent back so I changed my 5 stars to 1 star.Rubbish !!

i wouldve added a picture but amazon wants access to my photos etc,which isnt happening!!!ive been using this for about 2weeks,i thought it was great,but now i constanly have to take usb leads out n plug back in as they dont work often and now two out of the three sockets,dont work! the on/off swith is stuck between on/off and even if i get it to on,the power to that socket will turn off,mid use of something,absolutely a rubbish product,im guessing its wired very badly interally,and considering its surge protected,due to bad wiring,itd probably more than likely cause a fire!! im unplugging and throwing in the bin,total waste of £20!!dire product!!

The blue switch on this extension block jammed in the ON position. When I dismantled the swith it was obvious (see picture) that it had worn out. I've only had the extension for four months and don't use it that frequently, so this SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. *****LOOK FOR A BETTER QUALITY PRODUCT ****

I used this product for a permanent wall fixture in my daughters bedroom as I was unable to extend a plug socket due to a radiator being situated in the way. I like that it’s colourful, had 2 usb sockets and that the cable is thicker for safety and that it has surcharge cut off. Easy to wall mount and the cable fits nicely in some trunking. Also the cable length was perfect
