YISITONG Softbox Studio Lights 1350W with 5500K Soft Lighting kit, Continuous Lighting for Studio, Photograph,Video

Unfortunately this item is not as advertised. I ordered the 135W lighting kit that is supposed to come with a 135W bulb. However, this isn't the case and it is in actual fact no more than 53W (see photo). I have given it 2 stars because it does work, but it isn't what I paid for. I suspect all of the other copies available to buy claiming they are selling 135W bulbs are also falsely advertising.

Can't rate this enough, its perfect for the grim weather we have as i needed natural daylight to show the true colours of the velvet choker necklaces i make, best thing ive bought this year ColX

It obviously doesn't have the quality of the high end softboxes, however for someone who is just looking for an affordable simple softbox to experiment and learn with it works wonders. The stand is a bit wobbly at full height so as with any softbox you should try to anchor it before using outside (it needs a power socket so you're unlikely to do much of that anyways) but it does get the job done perfectly well. And I for one can't find anything to complain about, it comes with a UK plug but that's easily converted to a euro-plug for us in Scandinavia or the continent.

Received this soft box two days ago and at first after assembling which was pretty easy, it wouldn’t switch on....I tried it a few times and no hope....then after screwing in the bulb a second time and leaving it for 5 min, it worked! I think the bulb was abit cold? after it came to room temp it turned on. So worth bearing that in mind.It’s very bright! brighter than expected but good. gives a nice daylight light. Did some portraits with it and lights well for when the weather is a bit miserable outside. As I’m usually a natural light photographer so this was a good buy. Mimicks window light well.

I recommend this to all of my actor friends. I bought this for self tapes and my agent has commented on how good my lighting is. Means I can tape any time if the day and still get that good lighting

Set it up and it’s not working unfortunately. Looked to be good but the bulb didn’t turn on when I switched it on. Don’t know if it’s a problem with the bulb or the stand. Either way I’m not happy with this item.

Great lighting unit, instructions could be a bit better. Gives a great light when shroud is used, beware when removing the bulb it is very easy to drop.

Really good value for money and lights up a kitchen or desk shoot for YouTube videos
