Excellent purchase
Everything good with this knife. I had my own fish business many years ago so I know a good knife when I see one. I have had a Sabatier Trompette Cooks Knife for at least ten years, probably more, but decided to get a smaller one. Apart from the size, it looks identical. You really don't have to spend a fortune to get a good blade. Yes, i would buy again. You will not be disappointed with this knife.R.H. Devon

A nice knife!
Not quite as solid and heavy as my last one (which I gave to a friend in need) but a nice knife with a lovely edge. Good size, maybe more of a ladies knife!

Great shape of the blade for comfort. In 15cm it's just perfect the 20 is too much
I'm normally a huge Victorinox fan, but this knife from Sheffield is just great and firm favourite in our kitchen. Also have their steel, which is longer than most on Amazon and which is equally comfortable to use. Really happy with this one.

It snapped in half
Usually love Sabatier but this has snapped chopping garlic after a few months

great knife
for the price this knife is very good value. Although a little too small to be used as a chef's knife it makes an excellent - if slightly broad - parring knife and that is what I am using it for. Well made and a nice balanced weight, I recommend this knife to you.

Perfect for my needs
Perfect for my needs, I prefer using this style of Sabatier having been a professional cook and this is to replace a 30+ year old knife of the same type. It is well balanced and comfortable to use even with wet hands, a must in my kitchen. From memory this wasn't much more expensive than my old one was either.
