Work As Advertised
Bright bulbs for the stated watts. Well made. We like 'em. Thumbs up.

They worked/fit my stove hood fixture
You can probably find these kinds of bulbs cheaper but for the convenience of avoiding a hardware or home store trip, they are quite reasonable at under $10 for a pair. I needed a stove hood bulb and these fit, My sole issue is the socket that holds the bulb is positioned horizontally, not vertically pointing down. So when I screw the bulb in instead of shining 'down' it shines its beam to the left. It's still enough to light the area and see well for cooking if not ideal. I had had the spiral type bulbs that cast a 360 beam and those would work better, but at least now I have light again above the stove

Disappointed
These lights are extremely hot , so they are not suitable for indoors at all. They are also not very bright so I don't see how they'd be useful outdoor either.

This type of bulb is getting hard to find
We always keep our eye out for these smaller reflective bulbs. For the most part we still prefer incandescent vs. LED for when we use them for dimmable applications as LED's don't always work so well. They tend to flicker with old-style dimmers and the newer dimmers are just way to expensive. So these are a perfect solution for us!Definitely a GREAT SOLUTION!!
