Not high end, but big watches and small watches fit.Mine are on shelves I slide out a bit to see. Works well for what i need. Not travel cases

For the price the item worked well. The trays are made of a hard cardboard and covered iqnq black felt. Unfortunately, the the felt does not completely cover the bottom of the tray. You can see the white cardboard if you remove a cushion. However, the cushions fit my watches perfectly and provide great protection. I took off a star for the white showing through. This should be mentioned in the description. Otherwise, the trays are a good buy and will fit nicely inside a safe or drawers.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered 2 sets for a total of 6 for my watch display. They don't seem as solid or strong as they suggest. However, they look amazing!My only issue is that one of my trays was missing 2 pillows and that's just poor quality control.

You can use the trays with or without the pillows.The little pillows are fully stuffed with white polyester fluff type of filling (like you find in your bed pillows). The pillows have an envelope back, so some of the little white stuffing fibers may escape from the back. If you use these for displaying jewelry at trade shows, bring your lint brush, as black velvet always picks up a bit of lint.The black color makes a great backdrop for your jewelry, which is why you see it being used at higher end jewelry counters. It will really show off silver and diamond pieces.You can remove the pillows and use the tray for bracelets, as the compartments are just the right size for 7" round bead bracelets or for a chain bracelet.The tray's corners are neat, without any bulges (which I have found on some other trays). The compartment dividers don't wiggle and feel secure.The bottom of the trays are covered with a white posterboard type of paper. The bottom was flat and smooth, without any bulges that would interfere with the tray sitting flat on a table or dresser. My other watch trays (from other brands) all had velvet bottoms, so this was a bit surprising. The bottom won't be seen normally, so this isn't a problem. It does have an advantage that you can write on the bottom of the trays and label them with your name or any other information that you want to include.You get 3 matching trays, which makes this a great value if you do any trade or craft shows.
