Very lightweight and easy to use.
The main advantage with this rangefinder is the price point. If lets say you are a Marine sniper, then I would roll with something that has a German or Austrian name on it. Otherwise, unless you're Tiger Woods, this will be a PERFECT addition to your toolkit for golfing. Cheap and accurate enough. It allows me to do a reality check and realize that I can't hit the ball with a 7-iron and I should opt for the 5-iron. Made a difference to me.

A nice tool for the bag!
I know I'm probably the odd man out here, but I probably won't actually be using this for ball golf very often. I do play normal golf maybe once per year, but not very often obviously. I will, however, be taking this with me when disc golfing every single time I go and that's probably 30 times per year or more. This is my first experience with a range finder of any kind and it's a really neat tool. For the most part, I will only be using this on holes of 600ish feet and less, but that's still a good distance and us discers still have different discs that fly different distances and I can't tell you how many times I've asked myself in the past, "I wonder how far away I am from the basket?" Now I don't have to ask that question anymore. Plus, there are other uses too. How many times have you just plain wondered, "how far away is that thing?" Maybe I'm just strange, but I find myself asking those questions a lot and I like to keep this in my car to have an answer. The optics are nice and clear and it's super easy to use. This is my first experience with a range finder of any kind so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this is more than adequate for my needs.

Great value, accuracy is decent
Took this out on the course and compared it side by side with a $300 Bushnell that's now a few years old. The Bushnell was more accurate by 3-7 yards depending on the distance. Depending on your golf skill level, this may or may not be a deal breaker. If you are just interested in value first, this is a good option. Optics were good and targeting was quick and easy, it just seems off in calibration.

Far sighted
Good for seeing very far. And viewing things far away. It has a green lens and allows for clear vision

Range finder review
Works perfectly fine. Easy to setup and use and battery last long on it. Not expensive worth the price and money.

Versatile Rangefinder
The Fyobyye rangefinder combines a lot of functions. It comes with a USB charging cable, lens cloth, nylon carrying pouch with a belt loop, and instructions. The instructions are written large enough for me to read comfortably and includes many diagrams. There is no charger with the unit, but it can plug into any USB-A port to charge up. The eye-piece has a focusing ring. There is a hole in the case to install wrist strap, though none is included. There is no cover for the optics, but the carry case should keep the lenses safe. The rubberized black housing seems very durable and should last a long time under normal use. For golfers, it can find distance to a flag as well as ballistic distance, meaning it can tell the distance of an arc necessary to place the ball on an elevated green. It can also calculate the height of a tree on a hill just by reading the distance to the base of the tree and its top. It senses the slope and does all the angular calculations. Of course, it can also simply give the beeline distance to a point. From what I could tell it was accurate. It says it can measure distances up to 200-300 yards, though I was not able to test anything quite that far. All of this technology is accessed using two buttons and switch. There are long-press and short-press functions to each switch. I found it helpful to take the instruction book and the rangefinder outside with me so I could practice the functions and get used to what comes up in the display. This seems like a well-built unit with a lot of functions that are easy to access.
