5-Minute Star Wars Stories Strike Back

Star Wars is our jam. Great kids book before bedtime. My husband loves reading this book to the kids

When I first opened this book and saw the list of all the movies I thought this told each story in its entirety, but once I looked at the chapters I realized they were just one part detailed from each movie. That doesn’t surprise me as you would have a hard time describing a whole movie in a 5 minute story. These stories follow along with the movies without making up anything. But being just little chunks of the movies it is not possible to follow as a whole storyline obviously. The pictures are good and look very close to the real movie characters, especially the most recent ones. I really love the first few pages that name all the characters. There are a lot of people to get to know in these stories and I think that really helped to see them and be able to reference them at times. Overall, I enjoy this book and my Star Wars loving kid enjoys it as well. I’d say this is probably the best Star Wars book to own if your kid likes Star Wars.P. S. My oldest daughter is princess obsessed and I couldn’t take it anymore. We convinced her Leia is a princess so she should try reading Star Wars. It worked, she’s now Star Wars obsessed, and I no longer am required to read rapunzel every night! Yay Leia for saving my galaxy!!!

my daughter loves star wars and i really like this short stories cause i can read her 1-2 too and shes satisfied and ready for bed.

Great book. Perfect for reading to the kids. 5 minute story is perfect length to keep their interest and easier to read 2-3 stories they want instead of one long 20 page book. The book itself is nicely made. The cover is slightly padded and the pages are nice and thick. My only issue with almost any book now is the glue used to bind them isn't too strong. We have a lot of books where the edges are coming apart, this one included. Otherwise, great buy.

Although they aren't familiar yet with a lot of the Star Wars movies, my boys love the stories and have thoroughly enjoyed this book! I love that you can read a "chapter" or story in just 5 minutes. Perfect for bedtime! I will definitely be looking for more Star Wars books similar to this. The only slight negative as the story reader is that there is a ton of repetition with the character names...could use more he/she and his/her instead of repeating everyone's full name in every sentence. Not a major fault though, and I would still give this book a high rating and recommend it!

The media could not be loaded.  Good quality book and binding. Unfortunately the book we received had misbound/misprinted pages in the back. In the middle of a story it suddenly becomes a Marvel book for about 20 pages. So it is missing Star Wars stories. Would have kept it with the Marvel stories if it wasn’t missing the star wars that we wanted!Edit: new book came quickly with no flaws. The biggest bummer is the hassle of having to return it. But i have updated review to 4 stars.

I bought this as my 3 years old was interested with star wars after playing with some SW toys. He now knows most of the story and characters. He loved the book and asks me to read more

Loved the book nice illustration lovely book

We are slowly introducing our 4 year old grandson to the Star Wars Universe. These stories are working quite well so far. The language was appropriate but we were concerned with the “Death Star” term. But we changed it to Dark Star when reading to him. But he already loves the stories.

An excellent story book for the younger star wars fans, with good pictures and all of the main characters are identified. My Grandson loves it.

This book is a really great value. It is a really nice book. Very well made hardcover. Really nice size. Large book. I have the first edition of this book and it is my 2 year old grandson's favourite. I like the artwork on this one better.
