Found this after researching collagen peptide supplementation literature (I’m from a healthcare industry background in nutrition and wound healing). This offers a good amount of collagen (5000mg per serve) in line with the studies which show beneficial effects can be delivered with 3000 up to 20,000mg. Given the REALLY high cost of the higher mg products and the lack of concrete data on the best beneficial dose I hedged my bets and went with this one. Marine collagen source (vs bovine or porcine) are more expensive, but I didn’t want bovine or porcine source as am vegetarian / pescaterian. I wanted a sustainable and ethically sourced collagen and made in a uk or eu country which have best food regulations vs some of the dodgier random brands and products you come across being sold on Amazon.This product also had one month supply in one pack. Some brands only have 15servings for the same or much higher prices so watch out for that.The taste of marine collagen products can sometimes be an issue and I saw lots of negative reviews on websites for the cheaper products regarding fishy taste. This product tastes fine, not fishy at all. It’s not additionally sweetened either.Left it a month before reviewing to see if I noticed any improvements in skin etc as when it comes to anything skin related, it would take 4-6 weeks to see any real changes. I think my skin is looking better, less fine dryness lines, looks fuller and hydrated, but hard to say this alone did it because I’ve also updated my skincare routine topical products at same time.
