The options above ask how lightweight a weighted blanket is! Beautifully there but not cumbersome. Wish I'd discovered these years ago.I get to sleep more quickly, stay asleep for longer, fidget less (so I'm told) and wake up better - what more could you ask?I was worried it would be too heavy - no the glass beads are spread out well and stitched into sections. I was also thinking glass beads - will I be sleeping under lumpy marbles? No the beads are teeny and you have to really try to feel one on it's own. You certainly cannot when the blanket is on top of you. It's just a sort of presence holding you.If I do manage to damage it in some way, I'll be ordering the replacement the same day.

This looks and feels so much better than I can explain. I’ve slept under it twice (I am very active in my sleep, and find it hard to get to sleep) and can tell you, this puts me to sleep easier and faster than anything else I’ve tried.It is SO heavy, but so comfortable. I’m so glad I got it

I’ve waited a month to review this product to be sure I was really sleeping better, and I am. The blanket itself is very attractive, and heavy! It does take some getting used to, but now after a month it feels normal. It is also very warm, so you might need to reduce the tog on your quilt if putting the blanket on top. I am definitely waking up less. I used to go through periods of very light sleeping, waking several times in the night, and I am now sure that my sleep is greatly improved with this blanket.

The crushed velvet isn't at all soft. I had to put a cover on it.

I've been looking at weighted blankets for awhile and finally took the plunge, so glad I did.I have very poor sleep quality due too health issues, I don't sleep any more but the sleep I do get is alot better.Before the blanket I would get between 3 and 10 minutes deep sleep a night .Now I'm getting 30 minutes plus and this is getting longer all the time.If you have problems sleeping I would definitely recommend this blanket . If you think it's going to be to heavy on you it won't I got the 6kg one but now wishing I got the next one up

The blanket is soft, attractive and the weight I expected for a 9 year old. However, right after use we started seeing occasional tiny clear beads in the bed. She didn't complain at first, but about 1 month later, discovered her bed and floor were covered in these. We realized they were coming from the blanket, but they are so tiny we cannot identify a hole where they could be leaking from. They were such a mess to clean up, difficult to spot but we still step on them occasionally. Due to our location, it would be very expensive to ship to return / exchange. I can't speak to whether this is a persistent issue or a one time problem but for us, the purchase was a complete waste.
