I purchased this product to act as a massage blanket to keep my furniture/carpet safe from oils. The waterproof blankets that are usually used for this are very expensive, however, this product is used to keep furniture safe from animal wear and tear. This product is good for both, since I have cats so it is a better purchase overall as I would be hesitant to use a massage blanket as a sofa cover due to how much they cost.This product is large, soft, and waterproof. My wife is tactile sensitive, and it met with her approval, and she was more than willing to stretch out on it. The cats approved as well, but I had to shoo them off to keep them oil free. (Cats are worse than kids). I recommend this product for both furniture protection against small animals, and as a massage blanket.

I love this blanket! Since it is waterproof, it deters my cat from peeing on my bed. Plus, it is quiet, soft, and breathable somehow. I am confused and amazed! I loved it so much, I bought another!

Our pets love to be with us on the furniture, but of course, the hair and doggy smell can be a problem. These are the perfect solution! They are so soft, look nice, and can be removed as needed to be washed. We purchased one for the couch and one for an oversized chair. The measurements are as described. Best of all, they come out of the wash looking like new. No shrinking, pulling, etc. I will buy these again when needed.

I was so tired of purchasing blankets that were allegedly waterproof, and turned out not to be with the result being dog urine soaking through to my sofa. I decided to test this blanket by pouring 1/2 cup of warm water on the blanket. The water pooled on the blanket for a good long time. I had set a timer, and at the 30 minute mark there was still a small pool on top of the blanket, but most of it had absorbed. Since it pools, if it is not on a flat surface, it will run off in between your sofa cushions or onto the floor.You would need to catch it and soak it up right away if the surface wasn’t flat, It is definitely waterproof-the absorbed liquid never made it through the other side of the blanket. It washed and dried beautifully. i’m using it as the first layer on my sofa and covering it with another blanket I purchased, that is not waterproof (but was advertised as such. Double Protection! If it didn’t pool, I would give it five stars. It is a very soft, cuddly, blanket. The quality is excellent. I would purchase it again.

If you (and possibly your significant other) find yourselves frequently needing to wash sheets more often than you had planned, or soaking through towels, you should consider this product. It won't soak through like a towel, it's a decent length and soft. I also feel a little more comfortable laying on this than on a puppy house training pad, which is what we had previously been using to avoid soaking through the towels. Couldn't be happier. Saves me a lot of effort on cleanup when I'm already going to be exhausted!

My dog has had several accidents after being diagnosed with early renal disease. We bought this to protect her very expensive orthopedic bed. Happy to say this blanket actually works. It’s unfortunately been tested several times! Each time the Pluto e pools in one spot, doesn’t even soak through the other side of the blanket, and most importantly, doesn’t soak down to the bed underneath it. We wash it with anti icky poo and it’s good to go again. Totally worth the purchase, has saved us a lot of money replacing dog beds!!!

We purchased this to protect our down comforter from our new kitten, and thank goodness we did! We found out through trial and error that Gizmo prefers newspaper pellet litter- in fact, that is the only litter he will use! When we could not find the litter at the store, we tried other litters and he refused to use the litter box- this waterproof blanket was a lifesaver! It kept all of the urine off of our bedding and mattress. It washes easily and does not retain odor. If you have pets, this blanket is a must have! I purchased another one for another bed and a couple smaller ones for the dogs.

I have ordered several waterproof blankets and only about 1/2 of them are actually waterproof, this is one of them so I bought two, it’s soft, no sliding around, the layers are securely attached together and 100% waterproof.I wash it in cold cycle and air dry and these blankets have been great.
