Just as advertised
Hands down the most feature rich sight for the price. Mounted on my FN502. Sighted in easily.

Garbage.
Edit 12/22: It's utter garbage. Every sight has failed. Suitable for a kids air gun, that's it.If you get a working sight, you will probably like it, but the odds of that happening are low. The price is attractive. I bought 1 and it works great on a 22Win Mag carbine, which has *very* low recoil impulse to the fixed top rail.Bought another, the on/off function (press & hold button to turn on/off) did not work. The unit would only go to minimum brightness level and then flicker. Would not turn off unless battery was removed. So I returned with replacement as my option. The replacement unit came in a damaged box, and the reticle screws did not adjust the dot, making it un-usable. The exterior Amazon box was WITHOUT any evidence of damage or rough handling. The Sightmark package was well padded and did not appear to have shifted during transit. The Sightmark package was crushed on a corner - and this is a small but double-walled box - which tells me the Sightmark box was dropped or stepped before being shipped out to me like that.Did not get a chance to mount & use on a pistol, but in light of the other reviews, it is doubtful this red dot is built to handle the recoil shock to the slide of even small centerfire calibers. On a positive note, the included low & high risers are great. Also is great - all the extras you will need are in the box.

Pretty solid but not great for slim guns
I bought this for a Ruger mk IV, holds 0 great for 22lr however due to the slimness of the gun every time I set it down it engages the power button. Battery life had been great considering its uptime but it's kind of annoying to baby it.

Red dot
Haven't shot it in yet so time will tell if this was a good purchase. I do like its size and ease of use and appears well made. I purchased for use on a 22 pistol with picanty mounts and it looks good. I need to get it zeroed in now to see how it holds up but on a 22 it should not be problem.

Not good for everyday carry
While I liked the sight to begin with, after having to replace the battery for about the 4th time in over a years time, I am now only tolerating it. With 1632 batteries running over $5 a pop, it's time to retire this sight to go on something I don't carry every day. Whether the sight ON button keeps getting depressed or whatever, it's time to get a sight that has a programmable shake-awake.I did like the fact that the battery is on top and fairly easily replaced. Getting it sighted is a breeze - just sight at 25 yards if you need to be accurate up to that point. I've never had an issue with glass falling out or not staying in zero. I had this on a .40cal semi.

very disappointed
Have bought 7 or 8 in total for different guns and was very happy with them. Will not buy again. The previous one I bought gave out after 3 trips to the range. This one on first trip. Can't return it because I had to drill out mounting holes deeper because screw were either too long or not long enough. The lens got what looked like a bb pockmark on it and the dot just zoomed out of sight. Also on the last two didn't seem to adjust at all. Very unhappy because they had been economical and worked good.
