Great product
I am using this lanolin to make a metal balm and a needle felting balm. I love the pure consistency of the lanolin and it makes my compounds look and feel amazing. I am so grateful to have found a local source that ships quickly.

Works for intended uses
I wanted to use on brass and was not good for that. Too hard to get off.

Good For My Application
Mixed with isopropol alcohol, the lanolin oil makes a good resizing lubricant for powder coated projectiles prior to that particular operation. Also leaves my hands wonderful. A win-win situation. I don't have a 'nursing' application, so I can't speak to that. Don't know if you can treat leather with it.

Great case lube
This is a fantastic case lube when mixed with alcohol in a spray bottle. Makes loads of case lube too. No more stuck cases.

Great for homemade case lube for reloading
Mix this 10:1 with 99% alcohol for home made case lube for resizing rifle cases. Makes a GREAT lube. Spritz a little on a tray of cases, shake a little, and repeat. The alcohol flashes off after 10 seconds or so, and the residual lanolin is a great lube for resizing bottleneck cases.

Works awesome!!!
I am not using this product for the normal "beautiful skin" type of application. I use this as part of a solution for lubricating ammunition cases in the reloading process. I mix it in a 12:1 solution (with one part of Lanolin Oil with 12 parts of Isopropyl Alcohol) and it's the best way to lube your ammo cases so that they don't get stuck inside the press while resizing. I'm sure that's not what the manufacturer intended when it was produced, but it has no equal in this regard. It's the only thing I use this for, but it works great for that.
