I don't write a lot of reviews (this could even be my first!) but I felt compelled to warn people about buying this item.It is advertised as a beard straightener, but it is absolutely useless in this respect.I charged it initially for over 5 hours as advised, switched it on and it gets lukewarm at best, and this is only the baseplate - the plastic brush bristles themselves are stone cold.I use a plug in straightener and the bristles get nice and hot and this helps me get my beard lovely and straight. This design simply does not work - I am returning and looking to buy one where the bristles heat.I also had to request a replacement as the first one arrived used, with someone else's bristles still on it! To give the company their due, they sent a replacement very quickly so no complaints in that respect (although finding someone else's hair on it did give me the boak!).Maybe you'll have a different experience, but for me, the primary job of this item is to straighten my beard and it simply is no good at doing that. Shame as it's a nice looking wee bit of kit.

Typical, its a 'too good to be true' item. It was half the price of other cordless straightners. It charged and worked a total of 5 times flawlessly. I come to charge it, it shows 3 lights 'full charge' , try switching on, its dead and the heating element has died. Now its a £26 cold comb. Its in the rubbish bin now. Im off to purchase a decent one. Dont get ripped off with this chinese rubbish.And be careful too, because you can find this product everywhere on amazon under different badges, telling me its all from same dodgy factory.

Sadly no good for me, takes ages to warm up and makes my hair extremely static, I have a short straight bob which sometimes needs a touch up due to frizz, like I said makes my hair flyaway and ruins the style.

Looks great the only thing is it don't heat up much need to play with it more and will review again .

Might be good for beard or longer hair by not for bob as can’t curl under. Got hot enough to style but not suitable for my hair style. Returned.

Doesn’t get anywhere NEAR the advertised temperature even after leaving it for 15 minutes to warm up. Pretty much only good for a phone charger. Save your money.

Disappointed, took a long time to get warm without any indicator to state if it had actually reached desired temperature, no indication of how much battery charge was remaining, and the brush design didn’t work very well to catch the bear hairs, too flat and allows the air to pass through without being heated. Returned it after one day.
