Snippets from each movie
When I first opened this book and saw the list of all the movies I thought this told each story in its entirety, but once I looked at the chapters I realized they were just one part detailed from each movie. That doesn’t surprise me as you would have a hard time describing a whole movie in a 5 minute story. These stories follow along with the movies without making up anything. But being just little chunks of the movies it is not possible to follow as a whole storyline obviously. The pictures are good and look very close to the real movie characters, especially the most recent ones. I really love the first few pages that name all the characters. There are a lot of people to get to know in these stories and I think that really helped to see them and be able to reference them at times. Overall, I enjoy this book and my Star Wars loving kid enjoys it as well. I’d say this is probably the best Star Wars book to own if your kid likes Star Wars.P. S. My oldest daughter is princess obsessed and I couldn’t take it anymore. We convinced her Leia is a princess so she should try reading Star Wars. It worked, she’s now Star Wars obsessed, and I no longer am required to read rapunzel every night! Yay Leia for saving my galaxy!!!

Too many spoilers and complicated stories
My sons love the first 5 Minute Star Wars and I love that one too because the stories are easy to follow and they somehow managed not to give anything critical away about the plot while still having entertaining stories involving the characters. This is perfect for a 3 and 5 year old. This version is very different from the first. It gives away spoilers constantly and the stories are very complicated and don’t hold my kids’ attention like the ones in the first book. I also don’t find myself wanting to read it al much as I do the first one. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. I wish they had stuck with the format of the first one, especially since a lot of kids haven’t seen every movie and still want to enjoy the stories and characters.

My copy was missing pages- check your book before the return window is up!
My 3 year old son is really into the Star Wars series but he is a bit young to watch the movies. We have the other Star Wars book in this series and we were eagerly waiting for this to arrive because it said it contained 2 stories from The Last Jedi. We just got our book and we were disappointed to find that our copy was missing a bunch of pages and an entire story from The Last Jedi. The book did not seem used and we purchased it new so I’m not sure if it’s our copy only but we will be returning it for another which will hopefully include the missing story. So far, out of the stories that we have read, I would have to agree with the other reviewer who said that the stories in this book are a bit more complicated but my son gets the gist and I explain what some of the bigger words mean if he seems lost. As with the other 5 minute story series books, these stories are not the most well written and often have missing words in them but you really can't beat it for the price.Update: We received another copy which was not missing pages and will be returning our defective copy thanks to Amazon's hassle free return policy

Another big win for the 5 minute Star Wars series.
Another big win for the 5 minute Star Wars series. Our family had the 1st 5-minute Star Wars book so we knew how great it could be. Not all the 5-minute series books are done as well as these 2, but these are true gems. The writers have narrowed down little snippets of the Star Wars saga to perfect bedtime stories that feel as if they have a clear beginning & end, while staying true to the (movie) storylines. I’ve met a few fellow Star Wars enthusiasts who we’ve shared the original book title with that were very pleased. It’s nice to be able to start introducing my children to these stories early on (years before they’re ready to watch the movies). We got this “Strikes Back” book on Christmas Eve so I haven’t read all the stories yet, mostly because my children have forced me to read the 1st 3 over & over they love them so much. My children are 6 & 4 for reference. But we read a TON so they do tend to have decent attention span for books, I feel like with these, it’s a no brainer for all kids over 3.5(ish). Hope this helps!

Very disappointed!!!
When my grandson unwrapped this book for his birthday, he was overjoyed. That is, until he looked at the pages and we found that the cover was backwards and upside down! The pages go in the correct direction, but they have been cut wrong and the printing is trimmed into the words and pictures there! He loves Star Wars, but just cried about this book!!!

Need good near-sightedness
It maybe good as a real book. On my tablet (8in Amazon Fire), you see two pages on that tiny screen. the words are harder to read. As a caveat, the letters in the text enlarge if you double-click. There is a white background, which takes away from the illustrations. Sometimes my tablet gets confused with a double-click to reduce or enlarge text to page changing or going to main menu.I understand that some of the pages go together as one image. This necessitates the need to always be in landscape view but maybe there should be an option to see in landscape or portrait, if the images are not that important to see together.

Perfect bedtime stories!
Although they aren't familiar yet with a lot of the Star Wars movies, my boys love the stories and have thoroughly enjoyed this book! I love that you can read a "chapter" or story in just 5 minutes. Perfect for bedtime! I will definitely be looking for more Star Wars books similar to this. The only slight negative as the story reader is that there is a ton of repetition with the character names...could use more he/she and his/her instead of repeating everyone's full name in every sentence. Not a major fault though, and I would still give this book a high rating and recommend it!

Great stories, can’t go wrong!
Bought this as a bedtime book for my almost 6 year old. She loves the stories, they’re quick and clean, never delving too deep into some of the touchiest subjects like death. Each story seems to have a bit of an edge toward a moral like patience or working together. Only bummer is they’re 5 min. Would love maybe an older child version that’s a bit longer and dives into the details of the stories a bit more!

A Very Good Book
An excellent story book for the younger star wars fans, with good pictures and all of the main characters are identified. My Grandson loves it.

Good Introduction For Our four year old grandson
We are slowly introducing our 4 year old grandson to the Star Wars Universe. These stories are working quite well so far. The language was appropriate but we were concerned with the “Death Star” term. But we changed it to Dark Star when reading to him. But he already loves the stories.
