Petface Signature Padded Dog Lead, Medium, Black with grey stitch

I bought the PetFace lead as it looked like a stylish and comfortable product that would be enjoyed by our 10-week old Border Collie about town. As it’s her first lead it’s taken a little while for her to get used to but it’s been good so far. It’s standing up to her chewing it whenever it comes within reach of her mouth, and it’s comfortable to hold. It’s a nice product, however the clip for attaching to a collar is quite chunky, and has sometimes proved a little difficult to attach, especially to the equally chunky matching PetFace collar.

Loved this lead. My usual one have the normal spring handle that you pull back. As I go to the beach a lot with my two Rotties they get full and sand and sometimes sea water. They then stop working and you cannot pull the handle down. The clips on these leads are different and can easily be pulled on the collar quickly if need be. I bought the long one which is fine for me. They are robust enough and comfortable when you have to shorten them by wrapping round you hand

After having the lead for just under a month, we are returning this lead due to it having suddenly clicked undone for no apparent reason. It happened 3 times today while we were out, twice when our dog was just sitting so it was not even under tension. Can't see a reason as it looks intact but not going to risk it happening again. It's a shame because it looks and feels nice but the clip is far too risky for us.

Great leads, longer than normal leads and very good fasteners on them

I bought a medium, which measured approx. 120cm. I have had it for a couple of months now and has lasted really well. I use it for my coton de tulear who is approx. 3kg and pulls a lot. I particularly like the padding in the handle and can get a good grip. The clip is good and sturdy but some users may feel it is too chunky. I also like the ring in the handle which can be used to hang a bag carrier from and also to help stowage on the coat hook ready for the next adventure.

I love these leads. Good length, comfortable in the hand. If I ever needed to replace them, I would order these again.

I expected a slighly longer slightly thicker lead is okay was going to return but theres a 4pound fee ..also my model came with a rung on the handle witch can dig in when you take your dog for a walk

Main problem is that the catch is very hard to open and clip collar to. The clip doesn't open far enough so difficult and fiddly to clip on. Lead itself is good and holds large dog no problem.

Molto carino e sicuramente funzionale e fatto bene. Peccato che nella descrizione si parli di una misura ed in realtà ha una lunghezza di 120 cm. Io cercavo un guinzaglio di un metro, speravo di averlo trovato. Reso indietro comunque senza problemi.

Me encanta. Cómoda y agradable al tacto para no sufrir quemazos al tirar de la correa si tienes que hacer algún esfuerzo. Ideal tamaño y diseño muy bonito. Ha superado mis expectativas.
