Hillsdale Furniture Matson Headboard, Full/Queen, Cherry/Black

Product ships in two boxes, Amazon only provides tracking for one of them. The box with the metal frame part was a bit flimsy, and came slightly bent, but I was able to straighten the frame and it seems fine. The assembly and attachment to my bed frame went fairly easily. Two people would be better than one on this, but I managed. It's a bit wobbly perhaps, but that is more about the frame than the headboard. It looks terrific, and my pillows don't crush the blinds when I'm reading, which was the main goal. For the price, it's an excellent value.

This is a well made headboard at a great price. I was able to match it to my furniture which ultimately saved me a great deal of money because I didn’t need a new bedroom set. I like the wrought iron touches in it also. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase.

* the same day I submitted this review, the bolts showed up. So I updated from 3 stars to 4. Still poor communication from the company.The headboard is nice. Good value, looks good ...but, customer service not responding to my request for missing parts. The sheet included in packaging says 'WAIT' ...before you return contact us for any issues 'I have , 3 times. I even went to Lowes to purchase what I needed , just a couple of 3" bolts to connect the wood post to the headboard. ....no luck. The type I need ( thread type and length ) they don't have.

I hadn't had a headboard for my bed in many years and this just makes the room look finished. Love the cherry and black metal combination. Easy to get together and makes me smile.

I am very pleased with the quality, look , durability and style of this headboard. Prior to purchasing I considered several vendors and because the price of this one was significantly less , I was hesitant to purchase, assuming that the quality was not good. Upon receiving, I wad and still am extremely happy with it.

Our first delivery was damaged in delivery. I quickly returned it and was pleasantly surprised the replacement was delivered 2 cays later. The headboard was easy to assemble and looks great with the existing furniture which is cherry wood. Fits perfectly with our standard king size bed frame. We’re very happy with this product and kiddos to the fast replacement.

Good quality headboard, easy to assemble - but - it is not tall enough and looks like a postage stamp against the wall with a king bed and pillows. The highest setting to raise the bed to attach, leaves gaps on between the floor and the posts. Would not order again.

This is a great headboard. I already had a standard metal frame, and at first I didn’t know if I’d be able to bolt the headboard to it, but thankfully it worked out ok. I wasn’t able to attach it with all 3 screws on each side, but the 2 I was able to use secured it nicely.

Solid posts, fairly heavy frame.
