HAND TOOL SET - 8 piece WOOD LATHE CHISELS Tools NEW!

I only gave it three stars because it's an inexpensive set of turning chisels. However, I knew what I was getting for the price. Had I paid three times the amount, I would have expected more. This is a good starter set for me. As I progress in using my lathe, I'll purchase better tools. For now, these are all that I need. Good purchase for a starter set.

Product is far better than expected. Good solid construction and nice finish on the handles. Tools are usable as is but I like tofine tune the cutting edge to my liking of any tool that has a cutting edge. Call it tender loving care or artisan.Like the feel of the balance of the different tools as I use them. They just feel right and comfortable.Bottom LIne- Great product and I'm glad I purchased from this supplier.

This is NOT high quality. It is also NOT high price. For a beginning turner (like me), it is a good set to start learning to turn (and sharpen) with. After my skills improve, an investment in higher quality chisels will be justified. For right now, I'm pleased with these chisels.

This was my starter set for learning on the lathe. one of the tools was bent on a corner but I was able to grind out the problem on my bench grinder.If you are looking for a cheap set to learn on I say go for it.

Not as high quality but matches quality and price I paid. Steel is acceptable at best. If and when I replace these it will be with much better tools. I got what I paid for.

Great for the price, as an occasional turner only.Not exactly razor sharp out of the box, fwiw.
